BBQ’d Halloumi Burgers
These vegetarian burgers are perfect in a soft bun and will be loved by the whole family!

Ingredients (serves 4):
250g block halloumi cheese (cut into 8 slices)
1 teaspoon olive oil
4 burger buns
4 tablespoons hummus
1 large tomato (sliced)
4 large lettuce leaves
34 tablespoons tomato salsa
1. Heat up your BBQ!
2. Brush each side of the halloumi with olive oil and cook them on the BBQ for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are golden.
3. Split the buns in half and spread the bottom half of each one with a tablespoon of hummus. Add a slice of lettuce and a slice of tomato to each one, and then add the cooked halloumi on top.
4. Add some salsa on top of each halloumi burger and then put the top of the bun on and enjoy!
Top Tip: Serve this up with some home-made sweet potato chips, seasons with smoked paprika!
