Royal Berkshire 10k | Road Closures
The Royal Berkshire 10k will be taking place on Sunday 19 May, and we are proud to be hosting the event village along with the start and finish lines here on Green Park.
There will be three races within the event; the mini mile, mini marathon (3k), and the main race (10k). The mini mile will start at 08:30, mini marathon at 09:15 and the 10k at 10:30. Altogether there will be roughly 3,000 children and adults competing in these three races.
Due to the scale of this event, the estate will see a high number of footfall from competitors, spectators and event organisers. Therefore we would like to confirm that access to the below locations will be limited throughout the morning of Sunday 19 May. Outside of these times, access to 100 Longwater Avenue, 200 Longwater Avenue, 250 Longwater Avenue, Cisco, Thales and Green Park Village will be via a traffic management system.
North Entrance: to be used only for access to 100, 200 and 250 Longwater Avenue, Cisco, Thales and Green Park Village.
Longwater Avenue: access to all office buildings and the Green Park Village will be limited at the following times:
- 08:20 – 08:45
- 09:10 – 09:45
- 10:25 – 12:15
Brook Drive: access to Brook Drive will be via the South Entrance (South Oak Way).
Kybes Lane: the barrier over Kybes Lane will be closed from 10:00 and reopened around 12:15. All roads will be reopened once deemed safe to do so.
For Health & Safety reasons there will be many marshals around the estate as well as our own security team.
