A huge thank you to everyone who made the Green Park Reading Half Marathon such a success! As one of the most anticipated events in Reading’s calendar, we were delighted to welcome over 10,000 runners and spectators to our park. From elite athletes competing for personal bests to first-time participants soaking up the energy of the day, the race once again showcased the very best of community, sport, and determination.
Congratulations to our podium finishers:
🥇 Men’s Race: Rob Corney, Patrick Roffy & Ville Lehtonniemi
🥇 Women’s Race: Kate Estlea-Morris, Katie Brown & Alice Abraham
A special mention also goes to Lorenzo Moss, Noah Mazieres and Wilf May – the brilliant top three finishers in the Mini Marathon 3k.
We’re especially proud of the Green Park Home Team, who ran in support of Children Heard and Seen, supporting children and families impacted by parental imprisonment in their own community. The team has raised an incredible £1,095 to date, over double their original £500 target. A remarkable achievement both on and off the course.
Thank you to every runner, volunteer, and spectator – and the spring sunshine – who made this year’s event yet another unforgettable one. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2027!
