Generous Green Park occupiers provide Christmas cheer for Reading families
Green Park spread Christmas cheer by joining Connect Reading’s annual Giving Tree appeal, with its occupiers donating more than 100 gifts to vulnerable children in the town.
Toys and gifts were donated by the business park’s occupiers and given to disadvantaged children within the local community, via Connect Reading – a charity that works with enterprises to help them engage with the towns and cities in which they are based.
Staff at the park took a tag from the Giving Tree – situated at 100 Longwater Avenue – and bought the item it specified.
Nicole Coulson, Lifestyle Manager of Green Park, in Reading, said: “It was wonderful to see the great response we had from the generous staff who work at Green Park. This generosity will help make a big difference to children, and their families’, at this special time this year.”
Connect Reading’s Giving Tree appeal is now in its 22nd year.
