The Oracle in Reading
If you're heading into Reading and your destination is The Oracle, take a deep breath and prepare yourself for the shopping experience of a lifetime.
All the high street stores are here, along with a lot of names you wouldn't expect to see outside London.

When your energy levels are on the wane and you need to re-charge your batteries, then head to the Riverside promenade. Here you can take your pick from the 18 restaurants, cafes and bars that line the way, many offering al fresco dining overlooking the River Kennet. There's also a Performance Area where you can catch a band or street performer in action.
And there's more...
Some visitors to Reading never venture beyond The Oracle. But, if you head for Broad Street you'll find even more opportunities to shop.
Marks and Spencer is opposite the main Oracle entrance and just along from here you'll find WH Smith, Next and Woolworths. Walk a little further and you'll see the Broad Street Mall, another undercover shopping centre, where you'll find TKMaxx, Argos and a Virgin Megastore, along with lots of smaller outlets.
